It's no secret that I miss having a dog. So much so that I surf around looking at stuff that I'm going to get when I get another dog. Today I was looking at dog beds. I decided that a dog needs its very own place to curl up and feel secure. A dog bed will look a lot better than the piles of old blankets I've put down on the floor in the past. Did you know that you can even purchase a dog it's very own dog couch? That would be a cool alternative to them being on the people couch or the bed and shedding their hair all over where we sit and sleep. I always felt a little guilty making my poor dogs sleep on the hard floor.Actually, Marcus and I were looking at orthopedic dog beds right before we had to have Ursa put to sleep. Her joints were getting really bad and she just couldn't get up on the bed anymore. Sleeping on the floor was really tough on her and it would take her a while to get going in the morning. Unfortunately, she declined too quickly before we could get her one.
My next dog is going to be so spoiled!
