Peet’s Coffee

So, ever since Chris Pirillo used to write about Peet’s and ever since I found out from my friend that works at Starbucks that there is a Peet’s in town, I’ve been meaning to look it up. Here’s the address for future reference:

PEET’S CHERRY CREEK
2500 E. Second Avenue
Denver CO 80206

From the map, it sits on 2nd between Columbine and Josephine. I’ll have to check it out one day. Apparently, Peet’s taught Starbucks everything it knows.

I Love Dill

I found some Dill Flavored Sunflower seeds while travelling through Kansas. They sounded kind of gross and I passed on buying some as we headed east. On the way back, however, I decided to grab a bag to try and they're actually pretty good. Of course, they're made by the Spitz company and I already am addicted to their Seasoned Seeds and their pumpkin seeds are pretty decent.

Elway’s

So, I guess John Elway is opening a restaurant or something in Cherry Creek called Elway's. It's right on 1st where the old Canyon Cafe was. I saw the sign when Nina and I went to the arts festival last weekend. I guess owning the Crush and being the frontman for John Elway Auto Nation isn't enough to keep him busy.

Strawberry Frappuccino

OMG, has anybody else tried one of Starbuck's new Strawberry Cr?me Frappuccinos?? They're awesome! Nina made me one the other day. I could be hooked and may have gotten everybody at work hooked as well. Starbucks needs to pay me to rave about their products. I also need to get me some stock.

The Mocha Frappuccino with a shot of raspberry syrup is still my favorite Starbucks beverage, though. I wish they were a little cheaper. It's hard to justify $4 for a drink. Of course, that does mean that I don't drink them that often and I really don't need the hundreds of calories one contains. I need to figure out how to make them myself. I've seen recipes on sites that I've been wanting to try.
