Domestic Geek

I just found out that Joelle from Moxie Design Studios is blogging again at Tenth Muse. Man, her blog hiatus took forever and I've missed her horribly. Isn't that weird that you can miss somebody that you've never met? Anyway, she and her business partner at Moxie were busy writing a book called The IT Girl's Guide to Blogging with Moxie. It's available for preorder on Amazon as well as being on my Amazon wishlist. I can't wait to read it. Welcome back, Joelle!

Ten Awesome Things About Me

1. I have a great sense of direction. I'm really good with a map and at finding my way around.
2. I make the best cheesecake EVER!
3. I'm really smart.
4. I have keen powers of observation. It's makes me a good mistake fixer and key finder.
5. I love learning and trying new things.
6. I have pretty eyes.
7. I have lots of creative talents.
8. I look younger than I am. You'd never guess I'm 40 by looking at me.
9. I write really well. Well, most of the time, unless I've been taking some percocet or something.
10. I have a strong work ethic.

Laura has the greatest advice and tips about organizing. I was just over at Organizing Junkie and saw the most cool of gadgets. Marcus and I definitely need one of these:


She found it over at Organize-It and it's called the Power Station Recharging Center. It's a little unit where you can charge all you electronic devices in one spot and contain the cord mess that usually goes along with it. This would give us one central place to charge all of our phones and stuff instead of having them at various plugs all over the house! It's reasonably priced, too. I think I'll choose the black one, though, when I get one. It's way more techy looking.

Why can't I ever think of something practical like this?
