Domestic Geek

Why do women with tons of kids feel the need to congregate in the middle of an aisle of a store to shoot the shit? It's a small town. I'm sure these people see each other all the time. Don't stand in front of the meat counter and then look at me like I'm intruding on your stupid conversation when all I'm trying to do is grab a couple of pounds of hamburger. And they say people in small towns are more polite. Yeah, right.

I'm so proud of my dad. He ICQ'd me for the very first time today. Yay, Dad!!!

Man, the goal for today was to get the craft room organized. Geez, I'm making a bigger mess. I'm trying to go through all the junk that's in there as this is the room where Marcus shoves all my crap he doesn't know what to do with. I haven't been in there since we were going to sell the house. All the boxes with my school junk, miscellaneous computer junk, the meat slicer, you name it, it's in there. So, I pick up a box of school papers and the botton falls out. Frustrated, I back up and knock my glass of tea all over the carpet. And so that is how the cleaning is going.

1. What's your favorite vacation spot?
Hawaii. I took band trips there in 1979 and 1985. There were some condos we stayed at in '85 that had a private beach. It was heaven. I love Mai-tais and Blue Hawaiis. MMmmmm.

2. Where do you consider to be the biggest hell-hole on earth?
No offense to Marcus' parents (in Clarksville, TN), but any small town in the south. Especially in the summer. Ick.

3. What would be your dream vacation?
I want to take an Alaskan cruise.

4. If you could go on a road-trip with anyone, who would it be and why?
This may be unbelievable, but my boyfriend Marcus. I just love going places with him. My second choice would be my friend Traci. She's great to be around and tons of fun, too.

5. What are your plans for this weekend?
I worked and slept. Ho hum.
